[Important] Changes to Call Area Assembly Procedures & Review of Tournament Rules
We would like to issue an important notice regarding changes to the Call Area assembly procedures
and the re-verification of competition rules for The 2nd Tokyo International Fencing Competition (TIFC 2026).
All participating athletes, coaches, parents, and officials
are strictly requested to review the updated procedures and documents below before competing.
[1] Changes to Call Area Assembly Procedures The Call Area reporting requirements for this tournament have been updated as follows:
- U8 and U10 Categories
- Fencers in the U8 and U10 categories must report to the Call Area 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match start time.
- U12, U14, and U17 Categories
- Fencers in these categories are NOT required to report to the Call Area.
- Please report directly to your assigned piste (strip) by the scheduled match start time.
- Please check “Fencing Time Live” for your designated piste assignment.
[2] Re-verification of Tournament Rules and Regulations
As this competition incorporates specific local rules,
all participants are required to carefully review the compiled rules and regulations document once again.
